About the Role

As someone who can effect change with Pacific families, you will play a pivotal role in The Fono’s involvement in the Whānau Resilience initiative. Your input will be essential in bringing a change-focused perspective to service delivery, ensuring that Pacific cultural dimensions, values, and protocols are deeply embedded in service delivery by Kaimahi. Your work will be especially significant in the areas such of sexual violence and family violence, where cultural sensitivity and understanding are crucial.

About You

This Kaimahi position offers a remarkable opportunity to apply your skills and passion in serving Pacific communities in specific areas of need. You will have:

Relevant experience in the social services sector or a similar field.
A tertiary qualification in a related discipline is advantageous.
A strong understanding of Pacific cultural dimensions, values and protocols.
Experience in change management, particularly in addressing sexual violence and family violence.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A commitment to making a positive impact and advancing The Fono’s mission.
