Of Niue and Samoan descent, Lynn has a 17-year career in teaching and is currently the Associate Principal of Favona School in South Auckland.
Lynn brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to The Fono Board, not least as a passionate advocate for the Niue language and culture.
Since 2017, Lynn has worked as a Vagahau Niue Tutor/Translator and Peer Reviewer for the Centre for Pacific Languages.
She is also a Radio Announcer and Reporter for Pacific Media Network Niue programme. Lynn has worked for PMN for seven years, promoting the Niue language and culture to a wide audience.
In October 2021, for Niue Language Week, Lynn was honoured to become the first Niue Woman Language Champion of Aotearoa, sponsored by the Ministry of Pacific Peoples. This distinction recognised Lynn’s fantastic work in advocating, serving, and supporting Niue communities over many years of service.
Outside of work, Lynn’s priority is enjoying quality time with her two young children and the wider family.
