About the role

Join us as a Health Care Assistant in our Medical practice team of GPs and nurses in our fast-developing City and Blockhouse Bay practices, working alongside our Dental and Healthy Minds - LagiOla services. The role is 40 hours a week. 8.30am-5.00pm Mon-Fri (some future extended hours are a possibility).

About you

This Health Care Assistant position is an exciting opportunity to join The Fono – New Zealand's foremost Pasifika health and social services organisation. The position will best suit those with at least 1+ years' primary health experience looking for an interesting variety in their work. You will have:

• At least 1 years’ experience in Primary Health.
• Experience with general practice PMS (Medtech Evolution) is an advantage.
• Confident with computers.
• Able to handle and balance a fast-paced work environment.
• Work collaboratively and prioritise workloads.
• Excellent face to face customer service skills and phone manner.
• Enjoys working within Pasifika culture and its people.
