Improved Safety and Security at The Fono

The Fono's Health and Safety Committee is thriving, with representatives from every service actively participating.

This collaborative approach ensures that the latest health and safety measures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are communicated throughout our organisation, fostering a culture of safety and well-being. 

And with our Health and Safety Committee's Terms of Reference now in place, we have a solid foundation to drive our safety initiatives forward, guided by industry best practices and a commitment to excellence. This framework empowers our committee to drive meaningful change and continuous improvement. 

Our committee promotes a culture of open communication and prompt resolution, actively seeking input from across the organisation. The effectiveness of this collaborative approach is evident in improved protocol compliance, as validated by the H&S Officer's site inspection feedback.  

Building on this momentum, we have recently upgraded our clinics with: 

• Emergency alert systems throughout the clinics
• Increased parking allocation for the Henderson Healthcare Centre
• Improved and integrated security systems
• Redesigned clinic reception areas, boosting security and streamlining patient flow

We look forward to continuing our safety journey, driven by our commitment to excellence and care for our community.
