John Paterson
Board Member
John Paterson is of Māori descent and has an extensive career in health.
Experience and specialist areas:
John brings with him 28 years developing Māori Health Operational Strategy for Waitemata and Auckland DHBs. He is currently employed with Counties Manukau Health (DHB). John’s particular expertise is in strategic operational management and community provider relationships. John also has over nineteen years of engineering experience with the New Zealand Railways.
In addition to his commitments to The Fono Board and its Finance, Audit and Human Resources Committee, he is a Director of the Oceania Career Academy Board, a Roopu Member of Massey Primary School and a Board Member of Te Reo Tuatahi Trust Board.
