Dentist - 6 Month Fixed-Term

We are looking for a capable and motivated Dentist to join our City clinic on a 6-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

  • Mon, Wed, Thur & Fri | 32 hrs per week – 8.30 am – 5.30pm
  • Supported by an Oral Health Promoter & Treatment Coordinator

We are looking for a capable and motivated Dentist to join our City clinic on a 6-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality oral health care within a modern, growing clinic serving a diverse range of community and private patients across Auckland.

What you will do

  • Deliver comprehensive dental care, including endodontics (RCT), crowns, aesthetic/ cosmetic procedures, crown and bridge work, and general treatment.
  • Prioritise patient-first treatment planning – providing the best care, not just the quickest or cheapest option.
  • Provide preventative, restorative, and emergency dental services.
  • Contribute to community outreach and oral health education initiatives where required.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure culturally safe, patient-centred care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and uphold infection control and health & safety standards.

What we are looking for

  • Qualified and registered with the New Zealand Dental Council (Senior or Intermediate level).
  • Clinically confident and commercially aware – skilled in delivering higher-value treatments that improve both patient outcomes and clinic performance.
  • Strong experience in root canal therapy, crowns, and aesthetic/ cosmetic dentistry.
  • Patient-focused, flexible, and reliable – able to work across clinic and occasional outreach environments.
  • Collaborative and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Culturally competent and able to engage effectively with Pacific and diverse communities.
  • Full NZ Driver Licence
