About the role
We are seeking a skilled, patient-focused Dentist to join our City clinic in a maternity leave cover position.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established and growing dental service that delivers high-quality oral health care to both community and private patients across Auckland.
Initially, the role will be full-time for at least the first six months to ensure continuity of care and support increasing patient demand. Following this period, the position will transition to a part-time schedule.

About you
What you will do -
- Deliver high-quality diagnostic, preventative, restorative, and emergency dental care including: including endodontics (RCT), crowns, aesthetic/ cosmetic procedures, crown and bridge work, and general treatment.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans while ensuring patients understand their oral health conditions and treatment options.
- Obtain informed consent and maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.
- Provide comprehensive dental treatment within your scope of practice and professional expertise.
- Liaise effectively with dental specialists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Supervise and support Dental Assistants to ensure efficient clinical operations and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Maintain compliance with current clinical guidelines, practice protocols, health and safety requirements, and infection prevention standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development activities.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative team culture focused on excellence in patient care.
